Climbers in, paperwork done, wall busy
A climbing gym has a front desk that sells day passes, signs waivers and sends people to induction, all at once. Waivers, passes, memberships and payments are done before they reach the desk, so the wall is busy and the queue is short.
What gets in the way
- Waivers at the desk
- Waivers are signed on a phone before arrival and stored with the climber. They can be set to expire and be signed again.
- Day passes and members at the same desk
- Sell day passes and memberships at the till, or online ahead. Check-in recognises who has what.
- Induction and courses
- Intro sessions, kids' courses and lessons are bookable with their own capacity and waitlist.
- Memberships that lapse quietly
- Failed payments are retried and chased, and members keep their access without a conversation at the counter.
