No long-term contract. A paid plan renews for the period you have paid for, and you can cancel any time from your account settings. It ends when that paid period ends.
Mindbody's Terms of Service set a default 90-day initial term, then 30-day renewals, unless your order form says otherwise. Mindbody's own blog says fixed terms of 12, 24 or 36 months exist.
“Unless otherwise specified in the Agreement, the initial term of this Agreement is 90 days (“Initial Term”). The Initial Term begins on the Effective Date and, unless otherwise specified in the Agreement, automatically renews in successive and consecutive 30-day periods (each a “Renewal Term” and collectively with the Initial Term, the “Subscription Term”) until this Agreement is properly terminated.”

Our Terms contain no early termination fee. You pay for the period you have paid for, and it ends there.
If you leave early you keep paying for the whole term. The fees are described as non-cancelable and non-refundable.
“If you elect to terminate this Agreement early, you will remain responsible for payment of all fees owed for the entire Subscription Term and will continue to be charged each month for the remainder of the Subscription Term.”

Cancel from your account settings, or by writing to us.
Mindbody says it accepts cancellation requests only from the listed Data Owner of the account, by phone or by contacting support online, and that no cancellation is final until its internal teams approve it.
“Any cancellation dates discussed with support or through our chatbot are tentative. Final confirmation depends on review and approval by our internal teams, and no cancellation is considered finalized until that process is complete.”

Export your members, memberships, invoices, bookings, check-ins, sales and leads as a ZIP of CSV files whenever you like while your account is open. Do it before you close the account: we keep data for a limited period after that, then delete it.
Mindbody says that once your site is deactivated you can no longer access the data in it. Its terms give you up to 30 days after notice of termination to use its standard web services. A data export service needs an agreed statement of work and everything owed to be paid.
“For a period of no greater than 30 days following a notice of termination, Mindbody will make Your Data (except Cardholder Data and Content (as defined in Section 2.12)) available to you through Mindbody's standard web services.”

The terms say you own your data. They also give Mindbody a perpetual, irrevocable licence to use it to provide, improve and promote its and its partners' products, and say Mindbody owns aggregated data.
“As between you and Mindbody, you own all right, title and interest in Your Data.” “You agree Mindbody owns all Aggregated Data.”

Member payments go through your studio's own payment account. We do not hold your funds.
Mindbody offers its own payments service at its discretion, with fees deducted from the funds received. The terms bar you from adding card processing fees of your own, and let Mindbody offset what you owe against funds from payment processing.
“You agree not to introduce credit card processing fees of your own.” “offsetting such amounts against any current or future amounts owed or payable by Mindbody or any Mindbody Affiliate to you (including, without limitation, any funds arising from the settlement of transactions through the payment processing services (including Mindbody Payments) […]”
