About ABC Fitness

ABC Fitness is a software group backed by Thoma Bravo. Its products include ABC Ignite for clubs and franchises, ABC Glofox for boutique studios and ABC Trainerize, a coaching app that has its own business terms. The terms below are ABC's published Master Subscription Agreement for ABC Ignite and ABC Glofox. The term length and fees themselves are set in an order form that is not public.

Contract, data and payments

Ask ABC Fitness these questions before you sign or leave

Which ABC product is the contract for, and which agreement applies: the Master Subscription Agreement, the Payment Service Terms, or the ABC Trainerize business terms?
What is the data export fee per location, and when is it due?
How long is the initial term, and does it renew by itself?
How much notice do you need to give to leave, who can send it, and how?
Are there early termination fees, or fees that fall due if you leave early?
Can you export every member, membership and payment record as files, and does it cost anything?
Does the contract say who owns the data, and what happens to it after you cancel?
Must you use their payment processing, and what do they add on top of the processor's fees?
What do onboarding, data migration, text messages, a branded app and extra locations cost?

Where ABC Fitness may suit you better

You already run ABC products and want club management, a boutique platform and a coaching app from one vendor, which is how ABC describes its integrated ABC Glofox and ABC Trainerize.
You are already inside an ABC agreement and moving would cost you more than it saves.

Take your data out

Ask your current provider for a member and payment history export while your account is still open. Many providers remove access when you cancel.
Import

Bring it in

Use the import centre to load members, memberships, the timetable, products, gift cards, leads, payment history and attendance. Check a batch, and undo it if it is wrong.
Go live

Switch when you are ready

Run both side by side while you check the numbers. Set up your plans, classes and payments, then move your members across.

Questions

Can I cancel ABC Ignite or ABC Glofox any time?

ABC's published agreement says you may not terminate for convenience during the term, and that if you terminate early you must pay all fees due through the end of the term. The term length is set in your order form. Read the quotes in the table above and check your own order form.

Is ABC Glofox the same company as ABC Fitness?

Yes. ABC Fitness completed its acquisition of Glofox in 2022 and now sells it as ABC Glofox. We also list Glofox on its own page, because people search for it by name.

Can I move my members from ABC Fitness to us?

Yes. Export your members, memberships and payment history from ABC Fitness while your account is still open, then load them with the import centre. A batch can be checked and undone, so you can try it before you commit.

Do I own my data with us?

Yes. Our Terms say you own the data you put into the service. You can export it as CSV files whenever you like while your account is open. Export before you close the account, because we keep data for a limited period after that and then delete it.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. A paid plan renews for the period you have paid for and you can cancel any time from your account settings. It ends when that paid period ends. Our Terms contain no early termination fee, and we give at least 30 days' notice before changing fees.
